Friends list clearout

  • Feb. 13th, 2007 at 5:13 PM

If you're here, it's because you've noticed that I've nearly wiped out my friends list. I realize that all of the people I removed were from NaNoWriMo 2006, but I dropped out relatively early in the game. If you're not on my list anymore, you were removed for one of the following reasons:

1) Inactivity, which I know must be because some you were just NaNo journals.
2) I'm lazy. Too lazy to stay in touch with you.

You can do a few things. xD

1) Request to be re-added. I may be lazy, but it doesn't mean that I don't want to stay in touch.
2) Remove me from your list. Please. ;D

And PLEASE don't just let it sit. If you're reading this, you can remove me or ask me to add you again. But I hate to have people whose journals I never look at on my friends list.

I hope for this writing journal to become much more active in the future. ^^;

More comments on Day 9

I'm going to keep writing, but you can all ignore the stuff I wrote yesterday. Or read it and pretend that Zoiras wasn't so out of character and also pretend that it moved a lot slower than that, or over a longer period of time.

Or whatever. xD

Thanks to all of you for your comments.

Ohmygod. x_____x Here's an update while it's morning and I'm still awake.

This is kiiillling me. Ican'todthis,Ican'todthis,Ican'tdothis. e.e First I'm moving too slow, then I'm moving too fast, and then everything is like WOAH, what happened and why did the characters suddenly all go OUT of character? And how the heck am I supposed to fix it now that they've gone and done that, especially without rewriting? My characters are being torn apart and body parts are just flyyyyyyin'.

By the way, that's not supposed to be a good thing. In case you're a beleaguered NaNoer like me and can't, y'know, quite process that. xD

Anyway, I'm going to see what I can do to salvage it. At this point, I'm not sure whether I should write it over, pretend it happened another way and keep moving, or just try to make better sense of it. =/ I just read over Day 8's stuff again, and it's embarrassing. Really embarrassing. I'm considering setting it to Private, but then (if anyone's reading it, hahahah), everyone would be lost and confused.

A public note to NaNoWriMo participants:

Since I've decided to friends lock the majority of my posts from now on, I just wanted to make something clear. x)

My NaNo story will eventually include slash. I doubt there will be much above a PG-13 rating anywhere throughout the "novel," but please know that if you're not okay with it, no one's forcing you to read it. If I friend you, it means that I will be reading whatever NaNo stuff you post up. No one's asking you to friend me back. xD And if you do friend me back, I will be posting stuff besides this.

Anyhow, that's it for now.

A role-play post I wrote for Alanor. It was written in January of this year (2006), but I'm not going to backdate this one because the beginning of it has something to do with the last thing I just posted. Nothing obvious and nothing anyone else would know, but just for myself.

Dried Out

Okay, well, since I wasn't posting at Alanor, I figured that I had to do something or I'd never start writing. It's not good, but it's a ficlet for the "15 Minute Ficlets" LJ community, so yes, 15 minutes, though I may have gone a little over. Bleh. This one also involves characters from Alanor and took place a little before whenever Riaegos took over the EI.

Once

So yeah. Chrissi will recognize this, seeing as it was for our project that we turned in this morning. xD I KNOW IT'S CLICHE AND LAME, KTHX. But it sure is nice being able to write these things for fun without having to worry about how cliche we sound. As long as we get a good grade.

Anyway, this was for our World History project on the Holocaust, journal entries from the point of view of a Nazi guard. *shot* I KNOW. But they told us to do it. *points accusingly*

It makes me giggle, though, when I read it. That can't be good.

So anyhow, I figured that I ought to put something up, starting with the OLD stuff. This is something I threw together for the LiveJournal community "15 Minute Ficlets." Um, I wrote it when my brain was dead and I wanted it to be alive again. What they do is give you a word (this one was "routine") and you write for fifteen minutes. I don't write fast, as you can probably see. xD

Characters are original, yes-yes. They (or just Kyrillos, actually) are a few of the newer ones from a role-playing game (Alanor) that I've played at for the past four years. The link's in my profile. I know. Shameless plugging -- that's me.

This one is also backdated, since the journal was only just created.

I wrote this a long time ago for a short story competition. In retrospect, it really wasn't so much a short story as it was a drawn-out ficlet. It was way over-exaggerated at points. Kind of anticlimatic, too. o___o; But anyhow, Rafael Serdiviquus was a character from DoH (the Depths of Hell), an RPG that I joined at first so that I could slack off on posts. The place actually turned out rather fun.
